Icons not showing + homepage elements ignoring set height

Hi, I’m in the midst of setting up my site, I came across 2 issues;

1. Icons aren’t showing, site-wide;
2. Home – > part below “Our selections” – images display in different heights even though they are all set to same min-height of 460, image size set to the same for all as well.

Please advise,

There seems to be no update option in appearance->themes nor dashboard-> updates. “Your themes are all up to date”. How do I update?

Thank you. The icons are fixed indeed, I appreciate that. However, the third image below “Our Selections” on home still has an unequal height.
